Weigh-In Wednesday

It's my second week of Weigh-In Wednesday that I'm doing with Heidi. It's been a busy week, so I haven't been able to exercise as much as I wanted to. I've been trying to eat better, but life-long habits are hard to break. Especially when you're an emotional eater like me. I think that's one of the hardest things I'm trying to change about myself. I'm doing better though. This morning I woke up early to run on the treadmill and instead of going out to eat, since the husband was out fishing, I made myself dinner. I think it's the little decisions that help make the big changes.

Weigh-In Results:

- 1 pound (5 total)

Have you ever done a diet or weight loss plan? What were your strategies? Did they work? I love your comments!

Thanks for visiting!

  2. I'm losing weight at the moment (10 pounds down since the start of this year, woo!) Like you said, it's the little things - I don't take sugar in my coffee any more, I use sweeteners instead, and I walk to and from work instead of taking the bus! Nothing too drastic or crazy. Congrats on your 5 pound loss (^_^)

  4. Woohooo! Congrats on your loss!! I gained this week >.< I got a little wrapped up in the holiday haha. Breaking a bad habit is one of the hardest things! I have a big problem with eating out too much. Lately I have been trying a lot harder to eat at home. I'm so glad you are doing this with me!

  6. I had a lot of success with Weight Watchers. I didn't have a lot to lose, but ended up losing about 17 pounds and I loved the program. It basically teaches you to eat smaller portions, which is how we should all be eating anyway. Good luck!

  7. Congrats on the 5 pounds! I'm currently trying to lose weight and get into shape. In the past I cut soda for 3 months and lost quite a bit by doing that. I also went on a healthy vegetarian diet for a couple of months and lost 10 pounds. I've gained most of it back from snacking and drinking soda. This time around I'm not going to deny myself anything...I'm just going to try to pay more attention to what I'm eating and watch my portions. I started doing the Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred video three days ago...and it is kicking my butt!

  9. Woo Hoo! I have yet to catch you to the present day and you already lost 5lbs! Keep up the great work sista. Counting calories and working out 2xs a day 6days a week was how I lost 4 dress sizes before I transferred to our college... but of course that all went down hill once I got there. More veggies!!
