Local Market + Midnight Showing

While shopping with Mr. Brilliant, I took some photos of our local market with my iPhone. In our neighborhood we have a large Mexican population, so the store has lots of Mexican type foods like carne asada, pollo asada, and chorizo. Growing up and living in San Diego, Mexican food is something we can't live without.

I bought a strawberry Jarritos (fruit soda) and two of the Mexican breads. Delicious!

This market has much cheaper produce than the big chain grocery stores, and it's right down the street form our house!

If you are a Twilight fan, you know that Breaking Dawn part 1 came out Friday. Lucky for me, I have some friends who love it as much as I do, so we decided to go to the midnight showing that day. Unfortunately I had to work the next day, but I survived the lack of sleep. It was worth it.

It was really neat being in a theater packed with people who have the same interests as me. Some people arrived at the theater at 5pm and they opened the theater at 7pm, so people could save seats. My friend was one of the people who arrived early, so when I got there at 10:30pm, my seat was saved. When I arrived, people were wearing pajamas, sitting with blankets while playing music or games on their phones. A few girls were sitting on the floor at the front of theater braiding each other's hair. It felt like a big slumber party and I felt excited to be a part of it. I was surprised to see quite a few guys there too!

  1. Yum! I love the Lime Jarritos! Do you ever drink Topo Chico? It goes great for mixing with vodka!
