Here's a pretty shot of downtown San Diego I took a few months ago. I love my city.

I took this photo when I was with family. I gathered everyone's iphone for this lovely display of our 

modern age.

Sorry for the bad iphone photos, but I wanted to share the hair cut I've had since last summer. It's very comfortable and I get a lot of compliments on it. I also added highlights for the very first time and I think they turned out nice. At times, I do miss my long hair and being able to curl it nicely. I go back and forth on deciding if I want to grow it out.

Hair Dreams

My hair was starting to look a little dull, so I dyed it a darker brown color. And I always tend to get bored with my hair, so I took a little length off my bangs (don't tell my hair stylist!).

What I really want to try is shorter bangs, like my hair idol Zooey Deschanel, but I'm nervous with how it will look. 

I'm even thinking of cutting it myself, but I know I shouldn't. Everyone always says, "DON'T CUT YOUR OWN BANGS!"

Outfits and New Haircut!

I took a break from Weigh-In Wednesday today. I've been having fun playing with my pictures on Picnik, can you tell?

I wanted to show you guys my new haircut! The bangs are pretty much the same, but she gave me more layers to give my hair some life and movement. Before, when I straightened it, it would be super straight and lifeless. I wanted to keep the length long, but I guess she had to cut the ends because they were pretty nasty. 

Have you ever tried shooting a DLSR one handed into a mirror without using the viewfinder? It takes some real l33t haxor skillz! (translation: really leet amazing skills. I use to be an online gamer and picked up some nice language along the way haha! Counterstrike anyone? No? just me?.....ok).

My vacation is officially over! Back to work tomorrow in about 8 hours! boo! Why can't I just win the lottery and take pictures and blog all day? 

Sweet Disposition

Tonight I'm going to be working on a homework assignment that needs to be done by tomorrow, so this will be a quick post. 


These last few days since my hair cut, I've been trying to decide how to wear my bangs. I don't think wearing them straight down makes my face look good, so today I tried wearing them to the side. I think I like this way best. In these two shots I have the top half of my hair pulled back if you can't tell.

Garage Sales and New Haircut!

What did you do today? Well I scored some vintage stuff at garage sales and got my hair colored and a new cut. I'd say it was a good day :)

At one estate sale, I walked into a bedroom and the bed was covered with vintage purses that were only $2 each. I squealed a little on the inside! I took home 7 of the best ones. I'm hoping to start selling vintage items and clothes once I get a good collection going. Here's a few of the purses. I might keep one for myself!

I've never had bangs, so this is new for me. Not sure if I like them yet. My natural hair color is brown, but the tips were really light from the last time I colored it. I normally cut my own hair, but this time I went to a stylist. 

My husband hasn't seen my new look yet. He's out fishing for lobster. I hope he likes my hair!
