Fishbone Braid

My first fishbone (aka fishtail) braid. I really like this style better than a regular braid and it's not as hard as I thought it would be. After making this one, I realized the sections of hair I was grabbing were too big. It looks better when you grab small sections. Also, if you have layered or frizzy hair like me, you'll want to do this with wet hair. If you've never tried one, here is a tutorial from youtube that can help you.

  1. That looks so, so pretty! I have always wondered how to do that :) Now I just have to wait for my hair to grow a bit longer, hehe. Thanks for the tips, you look so lovely!

  6. Your hair looks so pretty! I'm gonna have to try it out too. I've got the frizzy curly hair, so I might straighten it first, or do it wet.
